Sometimes it can be easy to forget who’s watching, but always remember you’ve got your brand on the line when you post your Facebook status updates!

So as you can see from the video, posting Facebook status updates that show your best side is important. Remember, you can always vent and blow off steam on your personal profile. However, it’s important to keep your fan page, positive, fun, and entertaining. Make sure you speak to your target audience when using your Facebook status updates. Ask questions so they can engage with your page and drive up your Edgerank score. Share content that they can relate to, things that make them want to comment, like, and share your posts with others. Lead with providing value.

When using Facebook status updates don’t forget to reply to your fans. Directly replying to them not only helps you build rapport with them but it also shows them that you’re a real person, not some auto-bot posting updates.
