One of the first things you need to understand when prospecting is that your prospects may be struggling. Whether it’s financially, or struggling to generate leads for their business, have a lack of support by their uplines, etc.
You need to identify your prospects pain point. There is no one that knows more about your story than you, and the same goes for your prospects. So it’s important that you let them share their story with you. Make sure it’s a good time for them to speak by asking them if they have a few minutes to talk afterwards etc.
Also try searching for relevant information regarding your prospects so you can start to build rapport, find out what time zone their in, how the weather is, any current events in their area, etc.
