You can master the art of generating MLM leads but if you haven’t mastered the phone then those leads won’t do you any good. In this post I want to discuss how and why you should call your MLM leads.
First off let’s discuss one of the biggest questions we get asked often, “When should I call my MLM lead?” We say call them that day. Often times we will call our leads and we will actually hear our video playing in the background, pretty cool huh?
So, why call your MLM leads that same day? I can’t stress this enough because if you don’t call them then someone else will. Understand that when someone has gone online to research a particular topic I can assure you that you probably were NOT the only page they opted in to. So remember the early bird gets the worm but not always…..and let me explain why in a moment.
If someone took the time to put their phone number in to your page you have peaked their interest and it’s up to you to fulfill that interest with your offer. Truth be told most marketers are lazy, looking for a magic automation button and never call their leads. This is a GREAT opportunity for you to be different than the lazy marketer and establish yourself as someone who cares about helping others succeed and you can show this by picking up the phone and calling your leads as they come in.
There have been many times when Bill and I call a lead and the person on the other line says to us, “Wow, I can’t believe you called! You are the first person who has called me and I have opted in to hundreds of pages!”
Back to the early bird gets the worm. Yes, true but only if you know how to call your leads in which we will discuss now.
How You Should Call Your MLM Leads?
Our advice on how to call your MLM leads starts with the phone. Pick up the phone call your lead and remember to maintain your posture. This is why it is crucial that you work with your upline or your mentor so you can master the art of calling leads. It’s best to have the proper training on how to talk to your leads and close them. If you want to master this more quickly without going through calling leads and figuring out what works and what does not then make sure you have some good training from a proven leader or your upline who has good closing ratios.

Finally many have asked us if we leave voicemail messages when calling our MLM leads.
Here is a simple script:
“Hey this Bill Pescosolido from Dallas, Tx the reason for my call is I saw you opted in to one of our websites requesting more information on how to grow your business online or generate leads online. Call me back as soon as you get this my number is xxx-xxx-xxxx. Thanks have a great day and I look forward to talking with you soon.”
Your goal is to get the callback so keep it short and simple.
You can always call and leave a second or third voicemail but what I suggest is by the third voicemail you are using what I like to call the take away close. You are simply telling your MLM leads in a voicemail that this is your final message as you are needed to prioritize your time with those who are serious and those who are not and if they are serious then to give you a call back. If not, then tell them best of luck and thanks them for visiting your xyz.com site.
