Have you ever looked around the MLM industry and wondered how Mr. X or Ms. Y gets exposure from other MLM leaders? Then thought to yourself how you wish you could have that happen to you but you just weren’t sure how to make that happen.
In this post I am going to share with you how you can get the attention of other successful MLM leaders who can give you the exposure that you may be looking for.
Yes, You Need to Get Exposure From Successful MLM Leaders
First off let me explain why exposure is key to your success. Anytime Bill or I have been on stage, on a another MLM leaders webinar, been mentioned by another successful leader, our leads increase, our traffic increases, our email box overflows, our phone rings off the wall, and sales begin to happen.
So how do you get exposure from MLM leaders? First and foremost find something you are passionate about teaching on. When I first started out I chose Facebook marketing. This became my forte and I strived towards expert status. If you are brand new it’s okay if you aren’t an expert in anything, just start teaching what you are learning and it will develop naturally.
Once you have established what you want to become known for, look to get the attention of other MLM leaders and the best place to do this is at Live Events. My first big exposure opportunity came only 5 months in the business and it was from being at a Live Event with Mark Hoverson. He gave me a ton of exposure because of my results with Facebook. He spoke on stage at No Excuses II about what I had done, basically used me as a case study and had me as a guest speaker on one of his webinars that resulted in 4K in sales.
The next thing you need to do is be consistent in your marketing and your brand. Other MLM leaders aren’t impressed with those who are jumping from one MLM to another. Get clear on what you want to represent early on and stick with it. The consistency will pay off through your hard work and you will get the attention of other MLM leaders who will be impressed with your commitment. Weak players are those who waffle around from one opportunity to another and never make any headway. Trust me MLM leaders are NOT impressed by this and they know who you are. (btw…yes MLM Leaders do talk to each other so don’t burn a bridge)
You will also want to attend every major event you have the opportunity to attend. The more events you attend the more familiar your face will become among the other MLM leaders. Get to know those MLM leaders and hang out with them. Don’t tell them your sob stories but posture yourself and be confident in who you are and where you are headed. By all means don’t ask them for favors either. If you take on the mindset around other great MLM leaders of what you can do for them, you will have a better chance of getting the exposure from them.
How did I get exposure from great leaders like Jonathan Budd, Mark Hoverson, Ray Higdon, Todd Falcone, Daegan Smith, Russell Brunson, the MLSP gang, and many more? By having the mindset of what can I do for those leaders to give them value in their own business and by treating them with right. For instance, recently I was asked to do 2 modules for the Futuristic Marketing product soon to be released by Jonathan Budd and Mark Hoverson. Why? Because I took on the mindset of how can I help them knowing the exposure would be huge. Never have I stated I would do something and not follow through. Never have I committed to partner with them and baled. Be sure you treat MLM leaders right and if you want exposure align yourself properly with them.
If you aren’t having any success at getting the exposure from the top MLM leaders then remember you must be relentless. Never give up. Educate yourself, get the training you need to stand out in your niche and you will surely catch their attention.
Lastly, never be afraid to leverage your time for free for the right people. There have been many times where I have done something for free for many top MLM leaders in our industry just to gain that exposure. Each exposure has gradually pushed our business even higher. So, as you grow more successful you will be able to start picking and choosing who you invest your time with.
I am going to venture out on a limb here and say you can get exposure too from top MLM leaders. Just follow these tips and lead with a good heart. Always manage your expectations and expect nothing in return. Be a person of value and offer value. If you are brand new then offer a ton of free value and as you gain more exposure and rise through the ranks adjust your giving as needed. We all started at point A and you may be there now, just know you do have something of value to offer. Discover what that is and build upon it and become an expert in that niche.
Get out there and start treating others the way you would want to be treated. Always ask yourself if you are the type of person you would want to work with or partner with. If you can’t answer yes, then be that person and you will surely grab the attention of top MLM leaders in our industry by getting yourself out there.
