If someone takes the time out of their day to send you a message or leave a comment, please don’t ignore it.
Responding only takes a few seconds, and it really builds a good relationship with your followers. It shows them that you actually care about what they have to say.
Also if you reply to their comments, they are more likely to leave comments on your other posts which is always a good for increased engagement.
5. Have Both Personal & Business Instagram Accounts
Many people make the mistake of having one Instagram account solely for their brand, and they think one account is all they need.
It’s actually more beneficial to have both a personal and business Instagram account. On your personal account, you can post whatever you want: foods, friends, family, nature, pets, etc.
The great thing about having a personal account is that once in a while you can give yourself a shout out and refer some of your followers to your business account.

Having a giveaway once every month or two for your products is an amazing way to gain new followers.
When you do the giveaway, make sure that one of the mandatory rules are: “tag 2-3 friends in the comments below.” Another mandatory rule should be that they must be following your account. This is a great way for your brand to gain more exposure and new followers.
The people who are tagged by their friends will then check out your account, and chances are that they will enter the giveaway as well, tagging their own friends.
