Who doesn’t like Free? Today I am going to show you with this free Facebook Training strategy how you can have prospects to talk to in less than 3 minutes. It’s simple, it’s easy and it won’t cost you a penny.
The first step is to ask yourself who is the typical person that would be interested in your offer. Is it a stay at home mom, real estate agent, insurance agent, health trainer, teacher, etc?
Once you have defined that target you will want to log in to your Facebook account. If you don’t have a Facebook account you can click here to get your free account today.
Okay, now that you are logged in you will see a search box at the top of Facebook similar to the picture below.

Next you will want to type in the type of person that you determined who would be interested in your offer. The greatness of this feature is that the search bar in Facebook is similar to the search engines such as Google, Bing, Yahoo, etc. When you type in a category or interest in the search box, Facebook goes out and pulls all the data from the user’s profiles who have listed the particular search term you are searching. So in this example below, I searched Real Estate Agent because my particular offer would be of interest to Real Estate Agents.

After you type your “term” you will see that Facebook will give you a drop down box. You will want to go to the very bottom as you see in the example below and click on “See More Results”.

Facebook will then pull up all results for your term that shows up in individual’s profiles, groups, pages, places, apps, and events. In this free facebook training strategy I am only looking for people who have listed Real Estate Agent in their profile. Therefore, I am only going to choose the option as in the example below “people”.

After choosing people Facebook will now give you a list of those people who have listed the particular term on their profiles as seen below. You can even refine your search down into more specific demographics such as location. This would be helpful in my case if I were searching for Real Estate Agents in the Dallas, Tx area.

That’s it! Now you have right there at your finger tips people you can contact about your offer. But, here’s the catch that you must be aware of when it comes to using this free Facebook training strategy. If you do it wrong you will get disabled by Facebook so read carefully.
Most people would implement this free Facebook training strategy and jump right in by adding those people that came up in the search as a friend. What will happen is when that person receives a notification from Facebook that there is a pending friends request from you they then have the option to click a “not now” button or “confirm”. If they click “not now”, Facebook will then ask the user if they personally know this person that just requested them. If the user clicks “no” and 4 other people do the same thing on your requests you will get temporarily disabled from adding friends on Facebook. So, depending on the severity this could be for a few hours to permanently.
My advice if you are going to use this free Facebook training strategy is to first send a nice email to the person you have found from the search and get to know them first. Find a common ground and build upon that before throwing up your product offer on them. Remember people are on Facebook to socialize, to connect with their friends, family, co-workers, not to be pitched. Take time to build relationships first then think sales if there seems to be an interest from the other party. This should take you about 3-4 email exchanges before the person ever knows what it is you are offering.
