Facebook Interest Lists

Facebook recently launched a new section called, Facebook Interest lists. The new feature allows users to have more control over what they view in their newsfeed section. This new feature does not over ride the Facebook EdgeRank feature but instead it does give the user the option to click on their interests to view those status updates instead. You, the user, now have total control over what you want to see each and every day. So, if you are tired of the pitching and spamming in your newsfeed now you can view what you find is valuable content. Just one more reason as to why brands should be providing value in their posts each day.

After testing this function I found the feature to be quite attractive as it seems now I have my own customized live news stream of what interests me the most. In the video below, I am going to show you how you can set up your own personal Facebook interest lists. What’s even more appealing is you can have more than one all you need to do is set up each Facebook interest list in a particular category.

Remember is you are building your brand on Facebook make sure you are always providing fresh and valuable content in your social media efforts. Utilize the right combination of your keywords and value so you will be of interest to your target market.
