Facebook Detailed Targeting
Facebook detailed targeting is a powerful addition to the Facebook Advertising Ad Manager. In the past when creating a Facebook Ad the advertiser could specify who to target by a particular interest or demographic such as target all the people who like “Mr. K” or” Mr. M” or “Mrs. P”, etc…
You can still do that however now the advertiser has many more options to choose from such as targeting people who have an interest in “Mr. X and Mr. Y”, but exclude from that audience those who like “Mr. Z.”
Sound a bit confusing?
I thought so too when I saw this all written out but today I put together a quick video tutorial on the power of using Facebook detailed targeting when it comes to creating Facebook Ads.

Facebook detailed targeting allows marketers to now get even more specific when it comes to advertising which will hopefully, if everything else is all in place correctly, result in more leads, traffic, and sales.
Using Facebook detailed targeting, you can really hone in on the audience you want to reach and get extremely specific with your targeting. In the past, this feature was only available in the Power Editor but now it’s found within your Facebook Ad Manager.
