In today’s video I want to talk about a new feature that’s rolling out called the Facebook Call To Action Button.

Facebook Call To Action Button:

Pages are an important destination for people on Facebook, and they’re building new ways for people to interact with businesses through them. They’ve developed a new call-to-action feature that will help Pages drive business objectives. Designed to bring a business’s most important objective to the forefront of its Facebook presence, call-to-action buttons link to any destination on or off Facebook that aligns with a business’s goals.

Page admins can select from a group of call-to-action buttons — like Shop Now or Sign Up — to add to the top of their Page. The seven calls to action available are:

  • Book Now
  • Contact Us
  • Use App
  • Play Game
  • Shop Now
  • Watch Video
So as you can see by using these new Facebook call to action button’s you can direct people from Facebook that are on your page to engage with you in different ways. Maybe if you’re a business that takes appointments you can implement something like the “Book Now” button, or perhaps if you’re trying to show some one a system like MLSP, or your current MLM you can use the “Watch Video” button to tell them more about you and your business. If you’re an online retailer you can use the “Shop Now” button to direct users to your online store front. Are you trying to build your list? Maybe you can use the cover page photo to tell users about a cool new e-book you’re offering in exchange for their name and email info via the “Sign Up” call to action button.
Now while there is very little room for customization for the current button, I am sure as time goes on and they get user feedback we may possibly see some new buttons emerge or maybe even a customizable Facebook call to action button.
