Facebook Reply on Status Updates
I just got the new Facebook reply on status updates function. Very nice addition for us businesses looking to increase our engagement on our Facebook Fan Pages.
In the past the only way to reply on your own status updates to someone who has commented on your thread was to use the @andtheirname function and this would notify them that you just tagged them in the thread. Also if you went to a Facebook Fan Page and commented on someone’s comment within a thread you would still have to use the @andtheirname function.
Now with this new Facebook reply on status updates feature you can actually click the little reply button beneath each person who comments on your thread or on another Facebook Fan Page’s thread.
